85% of women in India have missed out on a raise, promotion because of their gender. 68% of women and 74% of working mothers in India say it is difficult to balance career and familial responsibilities today. More than 7 in 10 women and working mothers also say that household responsibilities often come in their way of career progress.
Life happens. Babies are born, we get cancer, our parents age and need us. These life experiences make creativity richer and deeper. Thats why we’re taking our creative comeback programme global.

The programme will run virtually for two weeks.
In week 1, you will get to meet your fellow attendees and your creative mentor from one of our partner agencies, and you'll receive a creative advertising brief from Diageo. D&AD will run sessions to help you flex your creative muscles again and get up to speed with creative industry trends. You'll also receive a portfolio crit and hear from key speakers about how to navigate today’s job market.
In week 2, you'll spend 3 days working as a team of 2-3 (with support from your creative mentor) on the Diageo brief. You'll then present your campaign ideas and / or designs back to Diageo and a winning presentation will be chosen! On the final day we'll be hosting a Talent Day for you to meet HR / Talent / Hiring Managers from our agency partners and our wider network who'll offer you career and portfolio advice.
application eligibility (all must apply):
based in India
must be women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people
creatives with a min of 5 years as an art director, copywriter or designer (or very similar role)
majority of working experience in the advertising, comms, marketing, digital or design industry
a career break for at least 12 months (eg. parenthood, illness, caring break, travelling etc)
you must have computer equipment and support structures in place to be able to attend the course virtually every day
