Yes, there are so many panels, so we decided we'd run workshops where you participate. As AI floods into the marketing industry without guardrails, we look at the implications from a DE&I point of view. What are the ethics we need in place right now? Most importantly, we have to ask: who benefits from AI? In any system of oppression, there are those who ‘win’ and those who are further marginalised. Join us in a fearless debate over lunch where we’ll explore: AI procurement, AI bias, AI’s role in systems of oppression and more.

Age and ageism: the power of age

We explore the context of age/ageism through a series of ads, looking at the typical stereotypes and how to avoid them. While ageism focuses on the over 50s, it applies to all ages - and we can see how this plays out in our marketing work. We’ll deconstruct a series of ads to look progressive portrayal - and why you need an over 50s marketing strategy from the inside out.
